Pho Da Nang Reviews

One of my favorite restaurants! Love their pho and spring rolls. My family has been going here for a long time

It was very good !the ambiance was good and so was the service !!! Pho was awesome !!! The portions for the money was good ! I will be coming back !

My fave pho place! Beef sate and all the pho is so good. Quick and fresh. Always worth it. Easy going restaurant, I don't mind going and eating alone there.

Came here with a party of 7 for lunch and with us was 4 little kids. The staff were friendly and absolutely did not mind all the noise the children were making. The food presentation did not look all too appealing but they all taste pretty good so that's a plus. I would definitely return to this location to eat whenever I am in the area. The restaurant was clean and spacious with ample parking space as it's located in a plaza.

Located in a strip mall. Ample parking. Service is not rushed at all. We actually stayed a little past closing and didn't realize it, but they were so polite and didn't say a word! Credit cards accepted.

I'm never disappointed when i have a meal here. Everything is always delicious and fresh. I do miss their family style meal combo but we just order everything separately. Service was good even when its packed and the inside is always clean. I usually get Pho and an avocado shake. We also ordered the spring rolls which are always fresh and hot. This place is definitely my favorite Vietnamese spot in the area. Check them out!

My family's go-to pho place when we're home in NJ. They have a huge selection of food (noodles, soups, rice dishes) to choose from on their menu and everything is reasonably priced. Service is also fast and very accommodating. What I got: - Spring Rolls: 4.5/5 - Always a staple here. Wrap this bad boy in some lettuce and it's out of this world. Giving it a 4.5 because I wish there were more filling or more spring rolls that came with it. - Fried Squid: 5/5 - This is so different from typical calamari. The sauces they have on this dish makes it so flavorful and unique. Fried to perfection, but the squid inside is still chewy and fresh. - Pho: 4/5 - This pho always hits the spot, especially on a cold or rainy day. The broth is always perfect, but meat can be hit or miss. Sometimes it can be a little overcooked. Always a good dining experience here, but I tend to always order the same few things. I definitely have to come back and order some other items to try out.

If you are in the South Amboy area and craving Vietnamese food, please stop by Pho Da Nang. It's a family run restaurant and in recent years, we all know how important it is to support local business! Came by here one evening with my family. They have plenty of seats for indoor dining. There were a good amount of people dining in for the dinner crowd. I must say that the staff was still attentive and quick to serve food. Noticed others brought their own bottles of wine. Found out this place is BYOB, which is always a plus in my book. We ordered a variety of different foods to share and sample. Appetizers - summer rolls and spring rolls were both very good. Spring rolls were crispy and fried to perfection. Beef banhmi was more filling than expected and the beef was very flavorful. Highly recommend all of them. Pho - I forgot which number I ordered but it was good. I feel like it might've been #11 because I do recall it having beef and tripe in it. It wasn't piping hot as I expected, but it was still pretty good nonetheless. Bo luc lac - beef was well marinated and tender. Wasn't over cooked. Can't go wrong with this and white rice. My family enjoyed their vermicelli dishes. I didn't get to taste it but I can assume they were good. If you love Vietnamese coffee, please order one for yourself. They personally drip their coffee so it's fresh (and strong, just how I like it!). They offer bubble tea as well, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Btw, there's plenty of parking since it is located in a strip. It is located right off route 9 so it is conveniently accessible. Overall, very good experience dining here. I recommend 4.5/5 simply bc I feel like I need to try more of their food since their menu is sooo extensive. Would definitely dine again if I have time when I visit NJ again.

I think I've found my go to Vietnamese restaurant. The place is a bit far from home, but the places I used to frequent have become quite mediocre. This place is no frills, we were seated quickly and presented right away with tea. We started off with the shrimp summer rolls, which could have used some cucumber or extra ingredients but they were fine. The seafood pho was loaded with seafood (probably frozen, but that was okay). Everything came out super quickly and we left full and happy.
